Icon directory

This page describes the icons you will see in myVC.

 

Waratah – top left of every page

  • Acts like a home button.
  • Clicking this will bring you back to the home page.
 

Notification bell – top right of every page

  • This shows all the notifications received during the myVC session.
 

External participant link – within Room Availability and Notifications in User Profile

  • This is the link that all external participants will be sent.
  • Every myVC room has a unique link.
  • External participants need to access this link to attend a myVC appointment.

Note: the icon is blue in Admin view but black in the User profile.

 

Active call – call status column (first column on waiting queue)

  • Indicates that the participant is currently in an active videoconference.
  • When you hover your mouse over this icon, you will be shown all participants in the call.
 

Active chat – call status column (first column on waiting queue)

  • This indicates that the participant is currently in an active chat.
  • When you hover your mouse over this icon, you will be shown all participants in the chat.
 

Waiting less than 5 mins – call status column (first column on waiting queue)

  • This indicates that the participant has been waiting less than 5 minutes.
  • The number in this tile indicates the exact number of minutes the participant has been waiting.
 

Waiting more than 5 minutes – call status column (first column on waiting queue)

  • The number in this tile indicates the exact number of minutes the participant has been waiting.
 

Returned or transferred – call status column (first column on waiting queue). Can be on a red or orange tile

  • This indicates that a participant has been returned to, or transferred, to the waiting queue.
  • Returned participants have connected with a team member by either chat or call, and then have been returned to waiting queue.
  • Transferred participants initially attended a different service’s myVC room and have now been transferred to your service waiting room.
 

Colour key – in column header on call status column (first column on waiting queue) and audio/video result column (last column on waiting queue)

  • Clicking on this icon will open a colour key and identify what each colour represents in that column
 

Medicare billing accepted – next to patient name in patient name column

  • This will only be shown on patient rows. It will not appear on other participant rows.
  • It indicates that the patient has accepted Medicare billing on their behalf.
 

Medicare billing declined – next to patient name in patient name column

  • This will only be shown on patient rows. It will not appear on other participant rows.
  • It indicates that the patient has declined Medicare billing on their behalf.
 

Present participant – next to other participant in the other participant column

  • This indicates that the patient and another participant have joined myVC from the same physical location.
 

OK microphone/audio – audio/video result column

  • This indicates that the participant rated their audio/microphone quality as OK when they joined myVC.
 

OK camera/video – audio/video result column

  • This indicates that the participant rated their video/camera quality as OK when they joined myVC.
 

Poor camera/video – audio/video result column

  • This indicates that the participant rated their audio/microphone quality as poor when they joined myVC.
 

Poor camera/video – audio/video result column

  • This indicates that the participant rated their video/camera quality as poor when they joined myVC.
 

Not tested microphone/audio – audio/video result column

  • This indicates that the participant did not test or did not rate their audio/microphone quality as they joined myVC.
 

Not tested camera/video – audio/video result column

  • This indicates that the participant did not test or did not rate their camera/video quality as they joined myVC.
 

No microphone/audio – audio/video result column

  • This indicates that the participant has specified that they had no audio/microphone when they joined myVC.
 

No camera/video – audio/video result column

  • This indicates that the participant has specified that they had no camera/video when they joined myVC.

Attach file – bottom left of screen in chat box

  • Clicking on this will allow you to attach and send a file while in a call or chat.

Send message – bottom left of screen in chat box

  • After typing a message, you can press enter on the keyboard or click the button to send your message.

Mute participant – in top bar, within participant tile

  • This allows the host of the consultation (normally clinician or coordinator) to mute a participant.

Muted participant – in top bar, within participant tile

  • This indicates that the host has muted the participant. The participant tile will be red.

Remove one participant from call – in top bar, within participant tile

  • This allows the host of the consultation (normally clinician or coordinator) to remove a participant. The call will continue with the remaining participants.

Minimise self-view – top left of self-view window which is at bottom right of call screen

  • Clicking this will minimise the self-view window.

Maximise self-view – bottom right of call screen

  • Clicking this will maximise the self-view window.

Microphone – call controls at bottom of call screen

  • This will auto hide but reappear when activated (moving mouse / touching screen).
  • Manage your audio feed with this button. Click to mute your microphone.

Note: This call control is available for both internal and external participants.

End call – call controls at bottom of call screen

  • This will auto hide but reappear when activated (moving mouse / touching screen).
  • Click to end the call or return the external participant to the waiting queue.

Note: This call control is available for both internal and external participants.

Camera – call controls at bottom of call screen

  • This will auto hide but reappear when activated (moving mouse / touching screen).
  • Manage your video with this button. Click it to turn off your camera.

Note: This call control is available for both internal and external participants.

Share screen – call controls at bottom of call screen

  • This will auto hide but reappear when activated (moving mouse / touching screen).
  • Clicking this will allow you share your screen, window or browser tab with other participants in the call.

Note: This call control is available for both internal and external participants.

Padlock – call controls at bottom of call screen

  • This will auto hide but reappear when activated (moving mouse / touching screen).
  • This indicates that your room is unlocked and other members of your room can join a consultation.

Note: This call control is only available for internal participants.

Locked room – call controls at bottom of call screen

  • This will auto hide but reappear when activated (moving mouse / touching screen).
  • This indicates that your room is locked. The host must grant entry to a member of your room that is attempting to join the consultation.

Note: This call control is only available for internal participants.

Screen layout – call controls at bottom of call screen

  • This will auto hide but reappear when activated (moving mouse / touching screen).
  • Clicking this will allow you to select different video image layouts.

Note: This call control is only available for internal participants.

 

Room settings – Right side of screen

  • Clicking this icon will allow you to access and edit the room settings.
 

External participant link – within Admin view

  • This is the link that all external participants will be sent.
  • Every myVC room has a unique link.
  • External participants need to access this link to attend a myVC appointment.

Note: icon is blue in Admin view but black in the User profile.

 

Download room list – Admin view, bottom right of page

  • Clicking this will automatically download a spreadsheet with details for all myVC rooms in that district.
