How to clear your browser cache

When you use a browser, like Chrome, Edge or Firefox, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies.

Clearing your cache and cookies can fix certain problems, such as loading or formatting issues on sites.

Clearing your cookies may sign you out of websites you are logged in to. It will not delete saved passwords.

In Chrome (desktop)

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click the menu button(the three vertical dots button).
  3. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  5. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files (check the boxes).
  6. Click Clear data.

In Chrome (mobile device)

  1. On your device, open Chrome.
  2. At the bottom, click the menu button (the three vertical or horizontal dots button).
  3. Tap History and then Clear browsing data.
  4. Make sure there's a check mark next to Cookies, Site Data and Cached Images and Files.
  5. Tap Clear browsing data.

In Firefox

  1. On your computer, open Firefox.
  2. Click the menu button (three horizontal lines) and select Settings.
  3. Select the Privacy & Security panel.
  4. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data.
  5. Click the Clear button.

In Edge

  1. On your computer, open Edge.
  2. At the top right, click the menu button  (the 3 vertical dots button).
  3. Click Settings and then Privacy & services.
  4. Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
  5. Select Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data (check the boxes) and then select Clear.

In Safari (iPhone or iPad)

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings and then Safari.
  2. Tap Advanced (at the bottom of the screen).
  3. Tap Website Data.
  4. Tap Remove All Website Data.

In Safari (on a Mac)

  1. On Safari on your Mac, go to the Safari menu and then Preferences.
  2. Click Privacy.
  3. Remove stored cookies and data and then Click Manage Website Data.
  4. Select one or more websites (such as MyVirtualCare).
  5. Click Remove or Remove All.
