The Eye emergency app is for medical, nursing and allied health staff in emergency departments and critical care, and for rural general practitioners. Clinicians can use the app to assist them in recognising and managing common eye emergencies.
An expert working group provided input to the app, reaching consensus using the best available information.
For each of the presenting conditions, the app includes:
- immediate action (if any)
- history
- examination
- treatment
- communication checklist(s)
