All NSW mental health staff should be aware of trauma-informed care and trauma-informed practices. Although staff may have heard of trauma-informed care, not everyone may be aware of its application in everyday practices.
You may wish to develop a training schedule and pathway so that all staff are aware of the training available and are able to improve their trauma-informed care skills.
