This referral guide help clinicians determine which patients may be appropriate for endovascular clot retrieval (ECR) treatment. It provides information and advice on ECR services, clinical considerations around eligibility criteria and an organisation and system perspective identifying ECR-capable facilities in NSW and minimum requirements for referring hospitals.
It has been developed in collaboration with consumers, clinicians and healthcare managers.
