May 2024	Special considerations	Updated the descriptors of Short stay patients to include the ‘ands’. A patient is suitable for a short stay menu if they are: not malnourished on admission and not at risk of developing malnutrition and not requiring increased nutrient requirements, e.g. maternity patients do have increased nutrient requirements and expecting to be discharged from hospital in three nights or less.
