Allergy diet - citrus free

Aim

To provide a diet without any citrus products.

Characteristics

Avoids orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit, mandarin, tangelo and any foods containing them.

Indications

  • sore mouth and throat
  • oesophagitis

Nutritional adequacy

Nutritionally adequate.

Precautions

None.

Paediatrics

Suitable for use in paediatrics when combined with an age-appropriate diet.
