Applications are open to obtain a General Authority as a continuation prescriber.
Before submitting your application to the NSW Ministry of Health:
- complete a training course endorsed by NSW Health
- read the criteria for the management of medicines for ADHD by continuation prescribers (PDF).

Endorsed training courses
The following courses are endorsed by the NSW Ministry of Health and must be completed prior to applying to become a continuation prescriber. Only 1 of the following courses is required.
Applicants who have completed any of these courses within the past 3 years do not need to repeat them; however, must produce evidence of completion upon request.
