MenoECHO

MenoECHO is an online mentoring network model using the evidence-based Project ECHO® (Extensions of Community Healthcare Outcomes).

MenoECHO is a collaboration between the NSW menopause hubs in Hunter New England, Northern Sydney, South Eastern Sydney and South Western Sydney Local Health Districts, the Agency for Clinical Innovation and Project ECHO®.

About the program

The program offers online sessions on the fourth Monday of every other month.

Sessions feature expert-led presentations on menopause, followed by discussions on case studies. They will cover topics with increasing complexity and shaped by feedback from attendees.

Who can attend

MenoECHO is designed for general practitioners, endocrinologists, gynaecologists, nurses and allied health professionals. Continuing professional development certificates for self-reporting will be made available.

MenoECHO is based on the Project ECHO® concept.

Project ECHO® was designed for continuing professional development and improving patient outcomes. It has been used for other conditions globally, and is now being used in NSW and across Australasia as part of the Menopause Initiative.
