Monday to Friday 7.30am -4.30pm (Outpatient Clinics)

Wednesday 12.30pm-4.30pm (HITH, Vascular, Podiatry)

Thursday 7am-4.30pm (MDT) weekly

First Friday each month Vascular clinic only

  • Diabetes
  • Foot Ulcer/wound
  • Acute Lower limb ischemia with foot ulceration
  • Gangrene of the lower limb
  • Cellulitis or soft tissue infection or absess
  • Peripheral Arterial Disease
  • Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Peripheral Vascular Disease

Nil referrals for Charcot Foot as no Orthopaedic intervention available

  • Multidisciplinary team includes:
    • Clinical Psychologist
    • Diabetes Educator
    • Endocrinologist
    • Hospital in the Home
    • Infectious Disease Physician
    • Podiatrist
    • Registered Nurse
    • Vascular Specialist
  • Intervention provided:
    • Comprehensive assessment, intervention and education with clinician and MDT
    • Pressure off-loading footwear, devices
    • Preventative and Step down Podiatry services
  • Common referrals
    • Multidisciplinary Allied Health teams within hospital
    • Community based Allied Health

Preventative or ‘step-down’ podiatry services available Chronic and Complex Community Health Podiatry via My Aged Care for 65+ or ATSI 55+ or Central Referral Service for all other referrals.

Home Visiting Podiatry Service is available for those patients who are house bound or on at home oxygen.
