  • Foot Ulcer/wound
  • Osteomyelitis/Bone Infection
  • Charcot neurarthropathy deformity (either acute or chronic)

Services Tweed and Byron Shire

All patients require a written referral from a medical professional 

  • Multidisciplinary team includes:
    • Endocrinologist
    • Orthopaedic Specialist
    • Orthotist
    • Podiatrist
  • Intervention provided:
    • Comprehensive assessment, intervention and education with clinician and MDT
    • Preventative and Step down Podiatry services
  • Common referrals
    • Community based Allied Health

General podiatry co-located 

Referral to the podiatry clinic: You will need a referral from a GP or health professional. Clients need to have a pension or health care card, to be a resident of NSW and to have a chronic health condition that adversely affects their feet. Examples of conditions include diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, peripheral arterial disease and peripheral neuropathy. The podiatry clinic also treats paediatric clients with foot pain and developmental disorders
