About this service
- Diabetes
- Foot Ulcer/wound
- Osteomyelitis/Bone Infection
- Charcot neurarthropathy deformity (either acute or chronic)
- Acute Lower limb ischemia with foot ulceration
- Gangrene of the lower limb
- Cellulitis or soft tissue infection or absess
- Peripheral Arterial Disease
- Peripheral Neuropathy
- Peripheral Vascular Disease
- Previous Amputation
Written referrals required from a GP or other registered health practitioner.
Patients referred to HRFS must reside within the boundaries of North Shore and Ryde/Hunters Hill with one or more of the above
Patients referred to the Podiatry department must reside in North Sydney, Lane Cove, Mosman or Willoughby LGA's, Support also provided to patients of the Brookvale Community Health Centre Podiatry Service

- Hospital in the Home
- Infectious Disease Physician
- Orthopaedic Specialist
- Orthotist
- Physiotherapist
- Podiatrist
- Registered Nurse
- Vascular Specialist
- Wound Nurse Practitioner
- Intervention provided:
- Comprehensive assessment, intervention and education with clinician and MDT
- Pressure off-loading footwear, devices
- Preventative and Step down Podiatry services
- Common referrals
- Multidisciplinary Allied Health teams within hospital
- Community based Allied Health
Step down offered througn Ryde Hospital
Additional consultative services available: Lymphoedema Service, RNSH Burns Service, Dermatology
