- Diabetes
- Foot Ulcer/wound
- Charcot neurarthropathy deformity (either acute or chronic)
- Acute Lower limb ischemia with foot ulceration
- Gangrene of the lower limb
- Cellulitis or soft tissue infection or absess
- Peripheral Arterial Disease
- Peripheral Neuropathy
- Peripheral Vascular Disease
- Previous Amputation
A client who had high podiatric needs and is unable to access private podiatry services

- Multidisciplinary team includes:
- Diabetes Educator
- Dietitian
- Endocrinologist
- Infectious Disease Physician
- Orthopaedic Specialist
- Physiotherapist
- Podiatrist
- Vascular Specialist
- Intervention provided:
- Comprehensive assessment, intervention and education with clinician and MDT
- Pressure off-loading footwear, devices
- Preventative and Step down Podiatry services
- Common referrals
- Multidisciplinary Allied Health teams within hospital
- Community based Allied Health
Preventative or "Step-down" Podiatry services - Limited availability at Port Kembla Hospital. Patients who cannot attend there can attend a private podiatrist with a care plan
