General Airway Checklist
The general checklist is suitable for use with adults and children, however there are specific resources lower down the page that may be useful for peadiatric patients.
The ECI airway checklist was produced in by Dr Daniel Gaetani and Dr Chris Partyka of Campbelltown and Liverpool Emergency Departments. It is evidence based and was produced using data from over 1000 intubations from the NSW airway registry. Common errors and were addressed with a focus on encouraging verbal planning of intubation attempts with the team.
