Overview

The ACI’s Violence Abuse and Neglect (VAN) Network has engaged the University of Wollongong’s School of Health and Society to produce the podcast series; ‘Making Visible: Shining a light on violence, abuse, and neglect’. The podcast will launch in March 2022 and showcase clinical and supervision practice across NSW Health.


In the webinar, podcast producers Dr Mim Fox and Ben Joseph will share insights about the production process, themes that emerged during clinician interviews and strategies used to de-identify client stories.

Audience

The webinar is for health professionals interested in hearing more about the podcast series. The speakers will describe how digital storytelling It supports clinicians to co-create the telling of their story and its representation in the final product.

Ben JosephDr Mim Fox Dr Mim Fox and Ben Joseph are social work academics from the University of Wollongong and Western Sydney University. They are the respective hosts of the Social Work Stories Podcast and the Social Work Discoveries Podcast, available on Spotify, iTunes and your favourite podcasting platform. Together they are producing the ACI Podcast “Making Visible: Shining a light on violence, abuse, and neglect”.
