The American College of Surgeons (ACS) National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) is an internationally benchmarked program to measure and improve the quality of surgical care.

The NSQIP Collaborative allows NSQIPs across Australia to promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, mentorship, and networking.

The Collaborative provides participants a platform to review and discuss the results of individual and state-level surgical performance reports and brainstorm interventions to address areas for improvement.

It also provides a mechanism for participants to extend the capabilities of the Collaborative by identifying priorities for surgical quality improvement and provide input to broader NSQIP management based on experiences to date.
