NSW Health Innovation Symposium Sponsorship 2013

Following expression of interest, eighteen rural clinicians were sponsored by ACI to attend the recent NSW Health Innovation Symposium to experience where local innovation is making a difference to patient care across the state and provoke system wide thinking on how we can become even more innovative in sharing ‘lessons learned’. Key take home messages included:

• Local Solutions to local problems – own the problem
• Take risks – change requires determination
• Partner with others – share resources
• ‘From little things, big things grow’ – set achievable goals
