Rural Innovations Changing Healthcare 2021
RICH is a one day ‘virtual’ forum linking rural health service providers, consumers and other rural sectors across NSW via a blend of videoconference, live webstreaming and social media to showcase and share rural models of care which have potential for broader implementation and to share experiences.
The theme for RICH 2021 is Rural Health Bounding Forwards
Presentations will address the theme Rural Health Bounding Forwards to showcase how rural health service providers, consumers and other sectors are embracing hope, strength and connectivity moving forward from the ongoing hardships imposed by drought, bushfires and the pandemic over the last few years. How have we used these experiences to drive meaningful change and create innovative solutions to counteract adversity?’
Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons, Resilience NSW and formerly Commissioner NSW Rural Fire Services, will provide the keynote address to set the scene through his lived experiences from the horrendous Black Summer bushfires 2019 / 2020.
