Rural Innovations Changing Healthcare 2021
RICH is a one day ‘virtual’ forum linking rural health service providers, consumers and other rural sectors across NSW via a blend of videoconference, live webstreaming and social media to showcase and share rural models of care which have potential for broader implementation and to share experiences.
The theme for RICH 2021 is Rural Health Bounding Forwards
Abstracts are invited which showcase how rural sectors are embracing hope, strength, connectivity and positivity moving forward from the ongoing hardships imposed by the drought, fires and the pandemic over the last few years! How have we used these experiences to drive change and create innovative solutions to counteract adversity? What new ways of service provision, recovery and connectivity have emerged? What benefits can we share?
Abstracts are invited for oral papers and ePosters which showcase how rural sectors have used adversity to drive change, in the shape of:
- behavioural change
- Indigenous and culturally appropriate care
- self-management strategies that increase confidence
- strengthened connections with communities
- consumers influencing health service continuity
- creative use of digital technologies for wellness
- innovative and flexible workforce models.
Abstracts close CoB 12th February 2021
This is a conference without travel, accommodation or registration fees.
