Southern Child Health Network Paediatric Rehabilitation Minimum Standards Workshop
ACI have been tasked with addressing Recommendation 50 of the Henry Review “The Ministry of Health works with specialist children’s hospitals and LHDs to better coordinate paediatric rehabilitation services across NSW”.
A key component of this work has involved the development of a series of minimum standards for provision of Paediatric Rehabilitation at Level 4 LHD sites, and for transfer of care from tertiary facilities.
This free workshop is an opportunity for clinicians to review the minimum standards and provide feedback, including addressing barriers that may be faced in local implementation of these standards and identifying potential solutions.
The workshop is aimed at staff who provide interventions to children and young people at Level 4 paediatric facilities and child and family health services. This may include paediatricians, nursing, and allied health professionals, as well as managers of these services.
Please note: this workshop is for clinicians from Northern Sydney, Sydney, South Eastern Sydney, Illawarra-Shoalhaven, Southern, Murrumbidgee LHDs and ACT Health. Other LHDs will be invited to workshops associated with Northern & Western CHNs.
The workshop will be run via Zoom.
The link will be provided closer to the time to those who have registered.
Please register online for this event by Friday February 11th.
