Suicide care pathways

The Mental Health Network is working with local health districts and specialty health networks to design and implement local suicide care pathways. We will also support local teams to build skills in co-design.

A suicide care pathway outlines the course of care for someone with suicidal ideation or following a suicide attempt. It provides a standard approach based on best practice and the latest evidence.

The work is part of a Zero Suicides in Care initiative, led by the NSW Ministry of Health.
