AIS 15: Uses and Techniques 2 day course (virtual)

NSW ITIM is please to present the  AIS15 Injury Scaling: Uses and Techniques course which introduces the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) and is the international accreditation course developed by the Association for the Advanced Automotive Medicine (AAAM) in the USA.

The course is applicable to trauma clinicians, trauma data managers, injury researchers and public health and policy professionals.

Prerequisites / Recommended knowledge base:

• 3-6 months of experience in working with a trauma or coding registry.
• Health information management or clinical coding background.
• Basic anatomy course or equivalency.
• Basic medical terminology course or equivalency.
