Emergency Research Surveys

Dr Viola Korczak is an early phase ED Trainee at RPA doing an Emergency Medicine PhD working with Associate Professor Michael Dinh and Dr Kendall Bein. Her PhD combines the fields of Health Economics and Medicine focusing on frequent presenters to the ED. A link to the survey is below. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete and will be used to inform policy on this important topic. It's seeking to engage doctors working directly with this cohort.

This research is being done to learn more about patients who present frequently to the Emergency Department.

The reason we want to know more about frequent presenters is to develop policy specific definitions to improve the outcomes for this population group.

Taking part in this research study is optional. We are looking for people who want to take part in this research and who are:

  • Directors or Acting Directors of the Emergency departments at level 3-6 hospitals across NSW.
  • ED Consultants and Registrars at level 3-6 hospitals across NSW.
