NSW Emergency Department Operational Efficiency Workshop
On the 29th March 2012, the NSW Ministry of Health and the Emergency Care Institute NSW held a workshop for ED clinicians and managers on Emergency Department (ED) Operational Efficiency. The keynote speaker was Dr Dan Smith, an ED Physician from Dallas, Texas, USA, who has previously presented in Australia at the 2011 Improving the Healthcare Experience ED Masterclass.
Dr Smith is part of the Studer Group, based in the US, who work with organizations in achieving, sustaining, and accelerating exceptional clinical, operational, and financial outcomes. More information can be found on their website.
