Acknowledgements

The ECI airway checklist was produced in 2019 by Dr Daniel Gaetani and Dr Chris Partyka of Campbelltown and Liverpool emergency departments. It is evidence-based. It was produced using data from over 1000 intubations from the NSW airway registry. Common errors and were addressed with a focus on encouraging verbal planning of intubation attempts with the team.
