Strategies for people with cognitive impairments - Challenging Behaviours
Overview
This is an introductory session on the use of NeuroBITE to search for evidence-based strategies for cognitive impairments. NeuroBITE is an electronic database that catalogues studies of cognitive, behavioural and other treatments for psychological problems and issues occurring as a consequence of acquired brain impairment (ABI).
The focus of this first session will be on evidence based strategies for memory impairments. Subsequent sessions will focus on other cognitive impairments commonly seen in people who have an acquired brain injury.
