Virtual care is the delivery of healthcare at a distance using information communications technology.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have worked with our partners in NSW Health to support capability of increased telehealth services across the state.

Communities of Practice

NSW Health has established communities of practice across key clinical specialties to support the response to COVID-19.

The ACI is leading 12 of these communities, bringing our networks of clinicians together with representatives from all local health districts and specialty health networks in NSW.

Critical Intelligence Unit

The NSW Health Critical Intelligence Unit provides rapid, evidence-based advice during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The unit publishes daily digests of new evidence and reports, and evidence-based reviews on discrete topics.

Pandemic Kindness Movement

Clinicians from New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria have worked together to create a website that provides resources available to support health worker wellbeing across Australia.
