Guests

  • Moderator: Donna Parkes - Virtual Care Manager, Agency for Clinical Innovation

His current role is working on the executive team as an Allied Health Manager and Podiatry advisor Western NSW Local Health District. Peter's ultimate goal is to implement positive changes and improve models of healthcare through further research and quality improvement systems. Peter's biggest achievements was working in a third world country in a referral hospital with a specialist team on an Ausaid contingent in 2006.

The past 3 years his focus has been on establishing a new hybrid High Risk foot model of care face to face and virtual from scratch (ACI approved) the first of its kind in Western NSW.

  • 12:45pm: Chin Weerakkody - Telehealth Manager, Southern NSW LHD
  • Chin is the Virtual Care & Telehealth Manager for Southern NSW LHD, working in the Integrated Care Directorate and is based in Bega NSW. Virtual Care does and continues to play a key role in achieving Southern’s vision of being a Recognised Leader in Rural Healthcare, and Chin’s excited to be a part of that.

Outside of the office, he’s a keen yet average surfer, doting doggo dad and freshly-minted husband.
