LBVC CHF and COPD Workshop #hacks4value Workshop #3 Innovation Tournament
The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) works with clinicians, consumers and managers to design and promote better healthcare for NSW.
This forum will be held in an innovation tournament format. Innovation tournaments are a useful and exciting way of engaging clinicians, system leaders and people living with chronic disease using a structured and collaborative approach. The aim is to develop awareness and insights into best practice for people living with chronic heart failure (CHF) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Embracing innovation and improving patient experience and outcomes while demonstrating the principles of value-based healthcare are also key elements of the event.
Abstract submission (oral)
We welcome the submission of abstracts for oral presentations on chronic heart failure (CHF) and chronic obstructive pulmonary (COPD). Abstracts need to be focused on ongoing care outside of the inpatient environment for people living with these conditions and share how the intervention:
- embraces innovative ways to deliver clinical practice
- shows improvements in patient experience and clinical outcomes
- demonstrates value-based care principles for ongoing care in CHF and COPD
- translates evidence-based guidelines in the ongoing care setting for people living with CHF and COPD.
Submissions are due by Friday, 28 February 2020 to email@example.com
The abstracts will be reviewed by a panel and presenters will be contacted in early March.
This event is aimed at clinicians working on the LBVC CHF & COPD clinical initiatives, as well as LBVC program leads and service managers who have oversight of the LBVC CHF and COPD initiatives.
Photographs taken at this event may be published by the ACI for internal and external promotion, education or research purposes. If you do not wish your photograph to be taken please notify our staff.
Some travel support will be available for participants from rural LHDs. If you or your colleagues require travel bookings (or have any queries about a booking) please contact Benn Miller at ACI: firstname.lastname@example.org.
