Green Theatres Webinar: influencing without power: how to talk to stakeholders about environmental sustainability

Dr Kate Charlesworth  is a Public Health Physician in Sydney that is the SESLHD as the Environmental Sustainability Lead.  She previously worked in the UK as a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and then at the Sustainable Development Unit which is a world-leading unit tasked with reducing the carbon footprint of the National Health Service. Her main interest is in low-carbon, sustainable healthcare.  She has completed her PhD looking at the characteristics of a future, sustainable health and social care system and the transition towards it.

Kate will be sharing her experience in developing the SES LHD Environmental Sustainability plan – a  first  for NSW  - together with tips and tricks and lessons learned on how to make environmental sustainability everyone’s business.  There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions and comments during the session.
