The ACI has a long history of drawing on research evidence to produce clinical guidelines. Building on this foundation and into the future, the ACI will increase the breadth of research-associated activities. The primary role of the Research and Education Committee is to:

  • Provide leadership to, and governance oversight of research and education conducted by the ACI
  • Advise the ACI Board on the priority, quality and relevance of research and education undertaken or proposed to be undertaken by, on behalf of the ACI.
